Superb book; totally different to most other translations, and so simple to follow. Ditch the pompous-sounding reader of the introductions, and 'chapter' mark the audio files, and I'd give full marks.

The Cassette Bible (New American Standard)This is the easiest and fastest way to read all the Bible in the best modern translation. Going somewhere? Just pop in a cassette and before you know it you have finished another chapter. Red Jeffries does a marvelous job of pronouncing those impossible names encountered in the Old Testament.
