Charles Taylor was born on a farm in Iowa in 1937.
In the 1970 he and his family lived in S.Korea for 5 years working for the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee
Mr. Taylor has done radio and television commercials and a book on tape “A Shepherd Looks at the 23rd Psalms”.
In the 1980s he recorded the NIV translation of the Bible for Zondervan Publishing

Easy Listening

I like Charles Taylor's voice and delivery, for the most part. A bit more dramatization could be used when the Pharisees question Jesus, and when the situation calls for it. To overdo dramatization would be distracting, however. Although I have not heard all of the CD's, I am pleased with this set.

Excellent

It is great to hear the NT in voice only. I got one for Christmas and it had background music and other confusing noises. My sight is getting weak and it is hard to read, but with the Audio CD it makes the Bible come alive again.
